About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized Senior Project Coordinator to support a critical Data Migration project at a leading bank. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, tracking project progress, and ensuring the smooth execution of migration activities.

The ideal candidate has experience in large-scale data migration projects, preferably in a banking or financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of data migration activities
  • Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring the project stays on schedule
  • Collaborate with project managers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to align migration tasks with business goals
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and risk logs
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, workshops, and migration activities across teams
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
  • Monitor project risks and issues, escalating them as necessary to ensure timely resolution
  • Assist with resource allocation and ensure all teams have the tools and support needed for successful migration
  • Support testing, validation, and sign-off activities for data migration milestones
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal banking policies throughout the migration process
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in project coordination, preferably in a data migration or IT-related project
  • Experience in the banking industry
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Power Point and excellent presentation skills
