Job Title: Assistant Restaurant Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at Subway Sandwiches. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of food service counter attendants and food preparers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Team Management: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
  • Operations: Prepare and submit reports, prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Setting: Fast food outlet or concession.
  • Supervision: 1 to 2 people.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and team player.
