Job Title: Senior Mechanical Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Designer to join our team at Ditanu Inc. | Robotics & Automation. As a key contributor to our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing robotics and automation systems for world-class organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical systems, tools, and equipment for robotics and automation applications.
  • Collaborate with internal project stakeholders, vendors, and trades to ensure project completion on time and within budget.
  • Perform calculations and analyze designs to ensure compliance with mechanical engineering and machine design standards.
  • Produce detailed drawings and bills of materials using SolidWorks.
  • Review and analyze designs for adherence to proper drafting and manufacturing standards.
  • Communicate design changes and progress to the Mechanical Design Project Leader.
  • Liaise with vendors and fabricators to resolve technical issues and ensure project completion.
Requirements:
  • University degree or college diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • 12+ years of experience in mechanical design and drafting in a custom automation environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
