Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Pet Valu. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales floor staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Assign sales workers to duties, ensuring optimal coverage and productivity.
- Customer Service
- Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
- Inventory Management
- Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately tracked and replenished as needed.
- Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing insights to inform business decisions.
- Security and Safety
- Ensure that store security and safety protocols are followed, including basic security clearance procedures.
- Transportation and Travel
- Utilize public transportation to travel to and from work, as needed.
- Work Environment
- Work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Personal Qualities
- Demonstrate accurate and efficient interpersonal skills, with a focus on client focus and team player mentality.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or sales environment.
- Basic security clearance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team, with a focus on client focus and team player mentality.
