Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Pet Valu. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our store, providing excellent customer service, and leading a team of sales associates.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign Sales Tasks: Assign sales workers to duties, ensuring that all areas of the store are covered and customers receive excellent service.
- Merchandise Management: Authorize the return of merchandise, sell merchandise, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Customer Service: Resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales associates, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of retail experience.
- Supervision: 1 to 2 people.
- Security and Safety: Basic security clearance.
- Transportation: Public transportation is available.
- Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, organized, reliable, team player.
- Permanent Full-Time Position: 30 hours per week.
- English Language: Work language is English.
