Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Pet Valu. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the store, providing excellent customer service, and leading a team of sales associates.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales associates, ensuring that they are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
- Manage the store's inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and back office.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
- Basic security clearance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with regular exposure to customers, sales associates, and other store staff. The position requires the ability to work in a team environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and meeting sales targets.
Language:The primary language spoken in the workplace is English.
Hours:The Retail Store Supervisor will work 30 hours per week, with a regular schedule of Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
