About the Role

Purolator is seeking a skilled HR Business Partner to join our team in Guelph. As a key member of our HR team, you will work closely with operations clients to drive proactive employee and labour relations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with operations clients to identify requirements and develop strategic plans to achieve business goals.
  • Support the delivery and deployment of HR programs and processes, including performance management, compensation, succession planning, and engagement surveys.
  • Provide guidance and advice on employment-related issues, including collective agreement interpretation, attendance management, recruitment, and performance management.
  • Promote a safe and healthy work environment and support the management of WSIB, STD, and LTD cases.
  • Anticipate and resolve barriers to success, supporting a performance-driven culture.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on labour relations and client relations management.
  • Strategic thinking, strong planning and organizational skills, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization, with comprehensive consultative, partnering, facilitating, and influencing/negotiating skills.
  • Strong integrity, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
