We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Market Risk and Analytics Professional to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our analytics team, you will be responsible for building and validating models, performing data extraction and analysis, and working with in-house tools to drive business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced modeling and analytics tasks, leveraging expertise in market risk and analytics to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to drive business growth, using skills in SAS, Python, and SQL.
  • Analyze historical data to identify trends and opportunities, and create rules for anti-money laundering (AML) and fraud detection.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to validate and test models, ensuring seamless integration into the system.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to continuously improve analytics processes.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in market risk and analytics, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Proficiency in SAS, Python, and SQL, with hands-on experience in analytics and model building.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics or statistics, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in financial institutions (FI), with a deep understanding of banking operations and regulations.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as business analytics or finance.
  • Familiarity with creating and testing hypotheses for AML models, with ability to develop and implement effective solutions.
