Human Resources Coordinator

Fleetex Transport is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies and programs. You will also advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs
  • Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements
  • Mediate labour disputes and grievances
  • Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales
  • Administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs
  • Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs
  • Research employee benefits and health and safety practices and recommend changes
  • Hire, train, and supervise staff
  • Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Judgement and decision-making skills
  • Organized and efficient interpersonal skills
  • Reliability and values and ethics
