Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator

Fleetex Transport is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing human resources policies and programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, develop, and implement human resources policies and programs
  • Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements
  • Mediate labour disputes and grievances
  • Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales
  • Administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs
  • Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs
  • Research employee benefits and health and safety practices and recommend changes
  • Hire, train, and supervise staff
  • Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • 40 hours per week
  • English language
