Job Title: Electrical Controls Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Specialist to join our team at Asamaka Industries Ltd. As a key member of our automation team, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and programming automation and controls systems using PLC, HMI, Robotic, and SCADA systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop automation and controls systems for various industries, including automotive, power generation, waste management, and industrial manufacturing.
  • Configure and program PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems to meet specific customer requirements.
  • Develop and implement communication and I/O interfacing between devices and systems.
  • Troubleshoot and debug automation and controls systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, electricians, and project managers, to achieve project objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in the controls and automation industry.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems, as well as programming languages such as Allen Bradley Studio5000 and Siemens TIA Portal.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid Canadian citizenship or permanent residency, and a valid driver's license.
