Job Title: Sushi Wood Culinary Expert

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Expert to join our team at Sushi Wood. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our customers.

About the Job

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. You will work approximately 35-40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.

The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field. Proficiency in English is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.
  • Kitchen Inspection: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they meet health and safety standards.
  • Training and Development: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Recruitment and Hiring: Assist with recruitment and hiring of new kitchen staff members.
