Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at HLT Construction Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing human resources policies and programs, as well as advising managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent
  • Administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs to ensure compliance and fairness
  • Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs to support employee growth and development
  • Respond to employee questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Recruit and hire staff to meet the needs of the organization
  • Propose improvements to methods, systems, and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Support for Diverse Groups
  • Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who have been displaced by conflict or natural disaster
  • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations to promote diversity and inclusion
  • Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 30 hours per week
