Job Description

This role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide occupational therapy services to clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in the community, and will be able to communicate effectively with clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments to determine clients' physical and cognitive capacities, mobility, and attendant care needs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Provide treatment to clients in various settings, including clinics, communities, homes, and workplaces.
  • Prepare and submit case notes and reports as required.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario in good standing or registration in process.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in the community.
  • Superior communication, problem-solving, time management, and documentation skills.
  • Self-motivation and ability to manage a busy and varied caseload.
  • A valid Driver's License, auto insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • A completion of a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check within the last six months.
