About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Rehab First Inc. in Ottawa, ON.

Job Description:

As an Occupational Therapist with Rehab First Inc., you will be responsible for completing general and specialized assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing treatment to clients in various settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and goals.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans that address physical, cognitive, and emotional capacities.
  • Provide occupational therapy services in clinic, community, home, or workplace settings.
  • Maintain accurate case notes and reports.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements:
  • MSc. Occupational Therapy degree or equivalent.
  • Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario in good standing or in process of registration as a new grad.
  • Experience in healthcare settings, preferably in community-based roles.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation (e.g., Health Care Consent Act, Mental Health Act).
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, time management, and documentation skills.
  • Self-motivation and ability to manage a diverse caseload.
  • Valid Driver's License, auto insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Completion of a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check within the last six months.
