Job Title: Housekeeping Room Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Days Inn. As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Housekeeping Tasks: Make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities.
  • Teamwork: Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Support for Persons with Disabilities: Provides physical accessibility accommodations and awareness training to employees.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Supports newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition and diversity training.
  • Support for Youths, Veterans, Indigenous People, and Visible Minorities: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment.
