About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Econo Lodge Inn & Suites - High Level. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring our guest rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, and clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Guest Services: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and provide basic information on facilities.
  • Support Services: Pick up debris and empty trash containers, assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Shopping and Supplies: Shop for food and household supplies.
  • Accessibility and Inclusion: Provides physical accessibility accommodations and awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers, and refugees, youth, Veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
