Job Title: Diversity and Inclusion Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Diversity and Inclusion Specialist to join our team at the North Bay & District Multicultural Centre.

Salary:

$60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Job:

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion. As a Diversity and Inclusion Specialist, you will be responsible for developing questionnaires for social survey research, delivering presentations at conferences and workshops, and supervising workers and projects.

You will work closely with our team to promote cultural awareness, understanding, and respect. Your excellent interpersonal skills, communication abilities, and initiative will enable you to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., sociology, anthropology, education)
  • Experience in social service or charity agency settings
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
