Job Title: Welder

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Barton Truck Centre Ltd. in a permanent position.

Job Description:

Job Summary: As a Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret welding process specifications and ensure that welds meet standards and specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including robotic welding production lines.
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet quality standards.
  • Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding equipment.

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
