Job Title: Welder

Hooper Welding Enterprises Ltd is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
  • Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in welding.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux core arc welding (FCAW), plasma arc welding (PAW), and submerged arc welding (SAW).
  • Knowledge of aluminum alloys and stainless steel.
