Miska Trailer Factory Welder Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Miska Trailer Factory. As a Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and reading and interpreting welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications to ensure high-quality welds.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to join metal parts together.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes to understand the requirements of each project.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to cut metal parts to size.
  • Fabricate and assemble metal parts using various welding techniques.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • Ability to work 30 to 40 hours per week.
