Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Gas Fitter to join our team at AG MECHANICAL LTD. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, servicing, and repairing gas heating units and their components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install gas heating units and their components, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Measure and mark reference points for the installation of gas lines and equipment, using precision tools and techniques.
  • Service and repair gas heating units and their components, troubleshooting issues and performing maintenance tasks.
  • Advise clients on the standards, safety features, and maintenance requirements of gas units and systems.
  • Test and adjust control mechanisms, checking pipes and piping connections for gas leaks using gas detecting devices.
  • Install and service propane and natural gas filling stations, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in various locations, including commercial and residential settings. The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in gas fitting and heating unit service.
  • English language proficiency.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week.
