About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Gas Fitter to join our team at AG Mechanical Ltd. as a key member of our operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and service gas heating units and their components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Measure and mark reference points for the installation of gas lines and equipment, demonstrating attention to detail and precision.
  • Service and repair gas appliances and related equipment, providing expert advice to clients on maintenance and safety.
  • Test and adjust control mechanisms, checking pipes and piping connections for gas leaks using gas detecting devices.
  • Install and service propane and natural gas filling stations, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
Work Environment and Requirements
  • Work in various locations, including commercial and residential settings, requiring adaptability and flexibility.
  • Physically demanding role, requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling, as well as attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Work Term: Permanent, with a standard 40-hour workweek.
  • Work Language: English.
