Senior Safety and Security Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Safety and Security Supervisor to join our team at TD Place. In this role, you will provide supervisory presence within the Public Safety department, overseeing service delivery of security contracts and supervising security & public safety programs during events.
Responsibilities- Service Delivery: Oversee the service delivery of security contracts, ensuring that all necessary procedures are followed and standards are met.
- Event Supervision: Supervise security & public safety programs during events, including TD Place events.
- Incident Response: Respond to security incidents throughout the Stadium, conducting initial investigations, reporting, communicating details, and liaising with key stakeholders and emergency services as required.
- Audit and Compliance: Assign security team audits, supervise completion, and verify results to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Emergency Response: Direct security and building staff response in the event of an emergency, acting as primary security until relieved by a senior team member.
- Project Management: Manage specifically assigned projects, including first-aid, fire equipment, access control hardware, security, and video systems.
- Education: Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience working in a security leadership role directly supervising staff.
- Licenses and Certifications: Hold an active and valid Ontario Security Guard license.
- Skills: Strong computer literacy, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and experience operating security systems.
- Physical Demands: Ability to sit or stand for long periods, walk long distances, and climb multiple stairs.
- Availability: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.
