Wine Store Sales Clerk Job Description

At Water'n'Wine, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Wine Store Sales Clerk to join our team. As a Wine Store Sales Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and assisting in the display of merchandise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, discuss type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease.
  • Merchandise Display: Assist in the display of merchandise to create an attractive and inviting store environment.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register and handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Product Knowledge: Provide advice about merchandise, including wine and food products, to customers.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or sales environment.
  • Physical Demands: Bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
