Wine Store Sales Clerk Job Description

At Water'n'Wine, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Wine Store Sales Clerk to join our team. As a Wine Store Sales Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and assisting in the display of merchandise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide expert advice to customers on wine selection, pairing, and storage.
  • Assist in the display and maintenance of wine products, including labeling and stocking.
  • Greet customers and engage in conversations to understand their wine preferences and needs.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or sales environment.
Work Environment:

As a Wine Store Sales Clerk, you will work in a fast-paced retail environment with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
