Guardteck Security is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Assistant Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our site, ensuring the highest level of security and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Set the tone for a positive and productive work environment, serving as a mentor and coach to staff members.
- Act as the manager's eyes and ears on site, ensuring directives are carried out and maintaining open communication with staff, management, and clients.
- Understand and balance the operational and business aspects of management, making informed decisions to resolve client, staff, and management issues.
- Enforce professional standards, including staff training, development, and disciplinary action, while staying connected with site administrators, clients, and supervisors.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Guardteck Security policies, procedures, and standards, as well as site-specific emergency procedures.
- Assist the Security Manager and Admin Officer with scheduling, logistics, hiring, staff coaching, and risk assessments, while conducting regular checks of site facilities and staff compliance.
- Conduct audits of staff deportment, dress, and equipment usage, as well as intimate knowledge of opening, closing, and patrol procedures.
- Write clear and concise incident reports, conduct briefings and debriefings, and communicate effectively with staff, management, and clients.
- Take ownership of site operations, staff, and challenges, planning solutions to address issues and maintaining a proactive approach.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with site managers, admin officers, Guardteck management, and clients, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
- Exercise assertiveness, tact, diplomacy, and empathy in all interactions, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
