Job Summary

Renaud Consulting IM/IT Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Senior Agile Project Manager to lead our IM/IT projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Daily Scrum meetings, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective sessions to ensure seamless project execution.
  • In collaboration with the Agile Team, plan the next set of Work Items for the next Sprint based on the pre-defined Work Items workflow.
  • Forecast the number of deliverables such as Artifacts in an Iteration (Sprint).
  • E nsure that Artifacts and other Products are delivered on time.
  • E nsure that all Artifacts achieved during the Sprint are presented at the Sprint Review.
  • Process conflict resolution among team members.
  • Communicate and ensure that the Agile Team adheres to the Agile Principles and Standards set forward by Global Affairs Canada's Subject Matter Experts.
  • Shield his/her Team from outside influences.
  • Track and remove impediments known as Roadblocks with the Agile Team.
  • Perform knowledge transfer to the Agile Team regarding Agile techniques like User Stories, Continuous Integration, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, and Agile Games.
  • Perform knowledge transfer to the Agile Team regarding Work Items/Tasks, Backlog Tracking, Burndown, Metrics, Velocity, User Stories, Scale Agile Framework (SAFe), etc.
  • A scertainment, analyze, manage, and resolve Risk-related issues.
  • Produce Performance metrics and Progress monitoring reports.
  • Coach team members in Agile frameworks and guide the teams to higher levels of Scrum maturity.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and maintain costs to remain within or under budget.
  • Coordinate Sprints, Retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups.
  • Work with Product Owners to handle backlog grooming and new requests.
  • Work closely with software/web developers, architects, business analysts, designers, and the client's representatives to define the direction and approach to project design and execution.
  • Facilitate internal communications and be the point of contact with external stakeholders.
  • E stimate and track project velocity, costs, develop resource plans, and work to assess potential issues and risks.
  • R esolve conflicts, remove obstacles, and help teams implement changes effectively.
  • P erform Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement).
  • E stimate project costs, set deadlines, and effectively manage teams of professionals to meet deadlines.
  • M obile development, web development, or multi-tech platform implementation.
  • D o document roadblocks, bugs, and other project issues in the context of a business intelligence, data warehouse, or analytics project.
  • I dentify, analyzing, and documenting project risks for a business intelligence, data warehouse, or analytics project.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Agile Project Manager with a minimum of 10 years of cumulative experience.

The ideal candidate must have:

  • SENIOR level experience with a minimum of 10 years of cumulative experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with a recognized professional certification as defined in the TBIPS SA for the resource category (P.9) Project Manager.
  • M ust demonstrate that the proposed Senior Project Manager resource holds certification.
  • An agile Scrum Master certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI), The Agile Alliance, or Scrum.org.
  • M ust demonstrate using detailed project descriptions that the proposed SENIOR level Project Manager resource has Five (5) years of experience within the last Ten (10) years in an IM/IT environment as of bid closing performing the following task: Producing Agile artifacts, including the sprint and product backlog, for a (business intelligence, data warehouse) or analytics project.
  • M ust demonstrate using detailed project descriptions that the proposed SENIOR level Project Manager resource has minimum of Three (3) projects within the last Ten (10) years in an IM/IT environment as of bid closing performing the following task: Documenting roadblocks, bugs, and other project issues in the context of a (business intelligence, data warehouse) or analytics project.
  • M ust demonstrate using detailed project descriptions that the proposed SENIOR level Project Manager resource has minimum of Three (3) projects within the last Ten (10) years in an IM/IT environment as of bid closing performing the following task: Identifying, analyzing, and documenting project risks for a business intelligence, data warehouse, or analytics project.
  • M ust currently hold valid Government Secret Clearance.
Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is between $110,000 and $140,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
