Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to join our Shared Services Canada team. In this role, you will play a key leadership position in driving Agile transformations and enhancing team performance.

Your primary responsibilities will include leading multiple teams, facilitating Scrum meetings, and coaching team members in Agile practices. You will also work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coach multiple Scrum teams in Agile methodologies and frameworks.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, ensuring they are productive and effective.
  • Identify and remove impediments to the teams' progress.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize the backlog effectively.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback loops.
  • Mentor and guide junior Scrum Masters and team members.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience as a Scrum Master or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of Agile practices, principles, and the Scrum framework.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification is required.
  • Proven experience in facilitating Agile transformations within organizations.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple teams and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience working in government or large-scale organizations is a plus.
  • Knowledge of other Agile frameworks (Kanban, Lean) is beneficial.
