Key Responsibilities:
  • Under the guidance of a Store Manager, you'll participate in a comprehensive training program to develop your store management skills, including merchandising, customer service, and operational procedures.
  • You'll be responsible for learning and understanding store sales, expense, payroll budget, shrink targets, customer service metrics, and TJX Canada programs and store operational procedures and policies.
  • You'll oversee and support assigned areas of store operations, including merchandising and presentation, frontline, fitting rooms, jewelry, maintenance, cash office, markdowns, administration, scheduling, shipping, and receiving.
  • You'll support the execution of store action plans with Store Management teams on upcoming projects, targets, priorities, company initiatives, events, promotions, or any other store initiatives.
  • You'll be responsible for organizing and overseeing Coordinators, Jewelry, and Store Associate teams, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education is preferred, but a minimum of high school education with 1-2 years of retail experience is required.
  • You'll need strong problem-solving and customer service skills, with the ability to make decisions and prioritize activities and resources in a store environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including interviewing, negotiating, listening, conflict management, information gathering, and coaching.
