Job Title: Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Custom Ston Masonry Inc.

Job Summary:

The Carpenter will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work safely at heights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Sand, trim, grind, or clean products into final form using hand tools.
  • Observe equipment, panel indicators, video monitors, and other instruments to ensure that processes are operating according to specifications.
  • Assemble, install, and set-up merchandise/products.
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed.
Requirements:
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Handling heavy loads.
  • Overtime required.
  • Physically demanding.
  • Steel-toed safety boots.
  • Reliability.
  • Team player.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience an asset.
