Legal Services Officer

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Services Officer to join our team at Native Counselling Services of Alberta. As a Legal Services Officer, you will provide support to our legal team in the Provincial and Territorial Court.
Key Responsibilities:
- Explain rights and obligations to defendants in a clear and concise manner.
- Provide administrative support to the legal team, including maintaining accurate records and files.
- Assist with preparing and submitting court documents and applications.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and community partners.
Requirements:
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
- Valid driver's licence and own transportation.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
