Pipeline Control Centre Operator

In this exciting opportunity, you will work closely with a team of hardworking professionals to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our pipeline systems. As a Pipeline Control Centre Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling pipeline operations, responding to emergency situations, and collaborating with external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control pipeline operations, including adjusting pipeline rates and pump selections
- Provide advice and feedback on operational constraints and opportunities
- Exhibit excellent troubleshooting skills and sound decision-making
- Work collaboratively with shift crew, support staff, and external stakeholders
- Respond to emergency conditions and alarms on the SCADA system
- Review and provide input into operating procedure revisions
Requirements:
- Two years of field operations experience
- A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- A valid 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate or higher
- Demonstrated adherence to environmental health and safety practices, policies, standards, and regulations
- A valid driver's licence and a clean driving record
