Key Responsibilities:

Centre Operations

Manage the overall operation of the centre, including recruitment and development of staff, management of policies and procedures, child safety, environmental health/hygiene, and province licensing.

Staff Management

Ensure that all staff members understand the objectives and expectations within each classroom.

Administrative Tasks

Manage administrative tasks such as processing payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general communications.

Regulatory Compliance

Understand and enforce all province regulations within the building.

Training and Development

Implement and ensure completion of training for all staff members.

Communication

Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.

Requirements

B.Ed. with a focus on Early Childhood or Early Childhood Educator Level 3 Certification

Demonstrated knowledge of licensing and accreditation regulations

Demonstrated knowledge of financial management

Must meet province requirements for childcare employment

Up-to-date immunization and Health Assessment as per the local Ministry of Health Requirements

CPR/First Aid Certificate
