Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at A & K Enns Trucking Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, overseeing the condition of the vehicle, and performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload goods
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Requirements:
  • Criminal record check
  • Driver's validity licence check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicle
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with various locations and will be required to work 50 hours per week.
