We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at A & K Enns Trucking Ltd. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining our fleet of vehicles, transporting goods and materials across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from our vehicles, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery.
  • Operate and Drive Vehicles: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of our vehicles, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Emergency Roadside Repairs: Perform emergency roadside repairs to ensure minimal downtime and maintain our fleet's reliability.
  • Pre-Trip, En Route, and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure our vehicles are safe and roadworthy.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance to extend the lifespan of our vehicles and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Cargo Management: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption to optimize our transportation operations.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of our cargo, including tarping and securing loads as needed.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's Licence: Possess a valid driver's licence and a clean driving record.
  • Transportation/Travel Experience: Have experience with local, provincial/territorial, regional, and short-haul transportation.
  • Security and Safety: Undergo a criminal record check, driver's validity licence check, and driving record check (abstract) to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Be able to sit for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
