Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, overseeing the condition of the vehicle, and performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Drive trucks to transport materials and well service equipment, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Logistics: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Safety: Ensure the safety and security of cargo, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Transportation/Travel Experience: Local, provincial/territorial, regional, and short-haul experience preferred.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check, driver's validity license check, and driving record check (abstract) required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Judgement, organized, and reliable.
