About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intermediate Hydrogeologist or Environmental Engineer to join our team at Jp2g Consultants Inc. as a Project Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading environmental and engineering project management, administration, technical input, and business development related to a variety of environmental work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with the Department Manager.
  • Work under the direction of the Manager of Environmental Services Department to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations.
  • Conduct background documentation reviews, field investigations, data analysis, and prepare reports to document findings.
  • Oversee drilling or excavation contractors, surveying, and coordinate sample analysis with laboratories.
  • Perform environmental monitoring or investigation, and ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Prepare fee proposals, assign and supervise delegated tasks, and ensure proper coordination of documents with other design disciplines.
  • Provide professional and reliable service delivery, on time and on budget, and ensure projects adhere to Jp2g's Quality Management System and Health and Safety program.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of professional experience in environmental engineering, geoscience, or hydrogeology.
  • University Degree in Environmental Engineering, Geoscience, or Hydrogeology.
  • Licensed by either Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) with P.Eng. or Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario (PGO) with P.Geo.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain Level II Secret clearance with Public Services and Procurement Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar program.
  • Bilingual (English and French).
  • Previous experience as project manager and managing technical staff.
