Job Summary
Jp2g Environmental Consultants Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Intermediate Hydrogeologist or Environmental Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our environmental and engineering project management team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality projects and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and technical reports
- Collaborate with the Manager of Environmental Services Department to ensure project success
- Conduct field investigations, data analysis, and prepare comprehensive reports
- Supervise field investigations, including sampling, drilling, and surveying operations
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant environmental laws and regulations
- Develop and manage fee proposals, and supervise delegated tasks
- Coordinate with design disciplines to ensure timely project delivery and high-quality results
- Work effectively in a team environment, maintaining positive relationships and communicating effectively with colleagues and clients
- Mentor junior staff, provide training and development opportunities, and contribute to the growth and success of the team
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in environmental engineering, geoscience, or hydrogeology
- University degree in Environmental Engineering, Geoscience, or Hydrogeology
- Licensed by Professional Engineers Ontario or Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle access
- Ability to obtain and maintain Level II Secret clearance
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and strong decision-making abilities
