Registered Nurse, Critical Care Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care team at Northumberland Hills Hospital. As a Critical Care Lead, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of healthcare professionals in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit
- Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient unit operations
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and effective communication
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and unit operations
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a critical care or emergency setting
- Experience in leading and managing a team of healthcare professionals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Ability to make decisions and prioritize workload effectively
