About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Insurance Sales Representative to join our team at Insurance Talent Group. As an Inside Sales Broker - Personal Lines, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Quote Preparation: Prepare quotes for new business using ARS, Applied Rating Services, or company portals, ensuring that all necessary information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage pipeline and quote metrics using CRM software, ensuring that all leads are followed up on in a timely manner.
  • Lead Generation: Contact new business leads within service level standards, following up on warm web leads and ensuring that all leads are converted into sales.
  • Insurance Consultation: Provide insurance consultation to clients, recommending appropriate insurance coverage based on their needs and risk profile.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with Client Service Advisors when troubleshooting files, ensuring that all issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date on carrier underwriting, marketplace trends, and continuous education, ensuring that you have the latest knowledge and skills to provide exceptional service to our clients.
  • Team Performance: Manage phone queue metrics with your team to ensure optimal availability for members, ensuring that all clients receive exceptional service.
  • Marketing Events: Participate in on-site marketing events, representing Insurance Talent Group and building relationships with potential clients.
Requirements
  • Post-Secondary Education: A degree in a related field, such as business or finance.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in sales or service, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Licenses and Certifications: R.I.B. Ontario or OTL licensed mandatory.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to multitask using digital procedures and technology, proficient in Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, and Excel, advanced written and verbal skills to help manage high customer expectations and to resolve conflicts.
