About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Lead ESG Data and Technology Professional to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our ESG Data and Technology team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of high-quality sustainability and ESG-related services, focusing on ESG data and technology. This includes coordinating ESG team members to define ESG Data & Tech solutions/offerings based on growing ESG Data & Tech requirements, reviewing and responding to RFPs pertaining to ESG Data & Tech use cases, and outlining the technical requirements for specific applications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building ESG data estates and centralized data repositories, as well as a deep understanding of current state ESG reporting and data management software markets. They will also have experience leading Data & Tech delivery teams, with a proven track record of implementing projects in Data & Tech.
This role requires strong relationship management skills, with the ability to establish productive relationships between various leaders, departments, and partners across the organization. The successful candidate will also have independent research and analytical skills, with a keen interest in staying updated on new standards, certifications, and technologies.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience leading Data & Tech delivery teams.
- Strong understanding of building ESG data estates and centralized data repositories.
- Deep understanding of current state ESG reporting and data management software markets.
- 5+ years' experience with implementation projects in Data & Tech.
