Job Title: Rehabilitation Support Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Support Therapist to join our team at Bayshore HealthCare. As a Rehabilitation Support Therapist, you will work with individuals with acquired brain injuries, providing supervision, personal care, and rehab support to help them increase their independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with individuals with acquired brain injuries to develop and implement individualized rehabilitation programs
- Provide personal care, medication management, and transfer tasks as needed
- Utilize crisis and behavioral management strategies to ensure a safe and supportive environment
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to enhance client programs and services
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in social sciences or healthcare-related studies
- PSW certification and experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overnights
