Job Title: Rehabilitation Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Rehabilitation Therapist to join our team at Bayshore HealthCare. As a Rehabilitation Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing rehabilitation support to individuals with acquired brain injuries (ABIs) in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized rehabilitation programs to clients with ABIs, promoting independence and increasing levels of functioning.
  • Perform personal care tasks, medication management, and transfer tasks as required.
  • Utilize crisis and behavioral management strategies to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with company and provincial guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to develop and implement individualized plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in social sciences or health care related studies.
  • PSW certification and experience preferred.
  • Valid G driver's license with a clean driver's abstract and access to a vehicle.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overnights.
