Job Title: Rehabilitation Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Rehabilitation Therapist to join our team at Bayshore HealthCare. As a Rehabilitation Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing rehabilitation support to individuals with acquired brain injuries (ABIs) in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized rehabilitation programs to clients with ABIs, promoting independence and increasing levels of functioning.
  • Assist clients with personal care, medication management, and transfer tasks, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Utilize crisis and behavioral management strategies to support clients with challenging behaviors.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records, adhering to company and provincial guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to develop and implement individualized plans, ensuring seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge in rehabilitation practices.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in social sciences or health care related studies.
  • PSW certification and experience preferred.
  • Valid G driver's license, access to a vehicle, and proper insurance for transporting clients.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
