About the Role

Seequent Limited is seeking a highly skilled Compensation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing compensation policies, programs, and solutions that align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement compensation programs, including base salary, incentives, retention schemes, and equity.
  • Lead market compensation surveys and provide analysis and recommendations to inform compensation decisions.
  • Develop and communicate compensation-related materials to HR Business Partners, line leaders, and employees.
  • Partner with Human Resources and Business/Functional leaders to provide advice and consultation on compensation-related matters.
  • Participate in the company-wide annual compensation review, including planning, training, and system enhancements.
  • Lead and/or participate in specific total rewards projects and initiatives as required.

Requirements

  • University degree in Human Resources or Business, with 5+ years of compensation experience preferred.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation preferred.
  • Strong technical expertise in North American compensation and executive compensation practices, with global compensation experience preferred.
  • Experience with equity-based long-term incentive plans preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, SAP Success Factors, and Workday compensation modules.
  • Results-focused with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Industry knowledge and legislative awareness.
  • Excellent customer service, communications, and problem-solving skills.
