About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Kittiwake PharmaChoice. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter client information into our database system.
  • Assist pharmacists with various tasks, including preparing medications and maintaining prescription records.
  • Process claims and bill third-party insurers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the counter area and shelves.
  • Provide excellent customer service and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Participate in promotional activities and maintain a positive attitude towards customer service.
  • Monitor all entrances and exits, and request proof of payment when necessary.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required.
