About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Regional Account Development Manager to join our team in Alberta. This is a full-time opportunity that offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and growing our commercial client base in the Peace Region, including sales of propane products and services. They will market and sell Superior Propane's product and services to new and existing clients, achieving predefined sales goals and objectives. The Regional Account Development Manager will provide leadership to business partners, grow the commercial business portfolio, and collaborate with other departments to develop and execute sales plans.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Collaborate with business partners to develop sales plans and leverage national and regional programs and resources
- Prospect, research, and identify new business opportunities and work the sales plan to create awareness, discover client needs, and deliver product and service solutions
- Build strong business relationships with prospective clients and manage a sales funnel/cycle by continually following up on current business needs and anticipating future business needs
- Prepare and confidently present sales proposals, including pricing and product/service terms, to key decision makers
- Influence, negotiate, and close the sale with the best interest of the company and the client in mind
- Communicate regularly and prepare reports on key performance indicators and communication on sales progress within the sales funnel/cycle and achievements
- Promote and represent Superior Propane positively and professionally within the community and industry
Requirements:
- Five (5) to 10 years sales experience
- Exceptional customer service skills and relationship management skills
- Superior organization and objective management skills
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Salesforce an asset)
- Valid Driver's License
