Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Mauser Packaging Solutions. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, resolving issues, and ensuring their satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers through effective communication and issue resolution.
- Process orders and maintain accurate records for assigned accounts.
- Review and resolve conflicts between plant delivery schedules and customer requests.
- Communicate order confirmations, changes, and cancellations to customers and internal team members.
- Identify and resolve service issues, recommending corrective action as necessary.
- Review orders for billing accuracy and quantity item errors.
- Manage credits, return authorizations, and pallet returns.
- Monitor inventory usage and identify items not tracking to plan.
- Ensure customer complaints are resolved satisfactorily, seeking guidance from supervisor as needed.
- Collaborate with Planners, Sales Representatives, Pricing team, and Plant Management as required.
- Prepare reports for Plant Management and customers, including inventory and open order reports.
- Process plant claims, including deductions for shortages and quality issues.
- File customer paperwork, including shipping documentation and orders, in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
- Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
- 3-5 years of customer service experience required.
- Basic to above-average computer skills, including Excel.
- CRM experience preferred.
- Ability to perform basic quantitative skills.
- Ability to work with all areas of the business, including plant and sales personnel.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service advocacy and problem-solving skills.
