About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at Westhill Dental. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
  • Supervise dental assistants in their health care functions, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Order dental and office supplies, maintaining a well-stocked and organized dental practice.
  • Perform administrative functions for the dental laboratory, including scheduling and confirming appointments.
  • Prepare dental instruments and filling materials, adhering to strict hygiene and safety protocols.
  • Maintain and order supplies, ensuring the dental practice is equipped with the necessary materials to provide excellent patient care.
  • Perform reception and clerical duties, including scheduling appointments and answering phone calls.
  • Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment, adhering to strict hygiene and safety protocols.
  • Educate patients concerning oral hygiene, providing personalized advice and guidance.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Relocation costs covered by employer.
  • Dental practice experience an asset.
  • Willing to relocate for this position.
